What could you do in one year with 20-hours per week and a $25,000 stipend to stimulate the entrepreneurial culture in our region? The Vogt Innovation & Invention Fund wants to know. In partnership with the Community Foundation of Louisville, administrator of the Vogt Innovation & Invention Fund, 1804 is seeking applicants for the first Vogt Innovator.
“The Vogt Invention & Innovation Fund has supported early stage entrepreneurs in Louisville since 2000,” says Susan Barry, President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Louisville. “We’re excited about 1804’s vision for entrepreneurship in Louisville, and look forward to supporting the Vogt Innovator’s contributions to its work. We are especially interested in how the Vogt Innovator can reach individuals and organizations who may like to know more about the entrepreneurship resources that exist in our community.”
Expected to begin in January, the Vogt Innovator is a part-time role with a one-year, $25,000 stipend and unlimited access to Maker13, the 1804 makerspace partner. 1804 Entrepreneur Center is headquartered in NuLu at 744 E. Market Street.
- The Vogt Innovator will spend their time supporting 1804 initiatives and advancing their own entrepreneurial ambitions. Responsibilities include startup ecosystem mapping, creating and running a network of entrepreneur services, organizing programs to support high-tech startups, and community outreach and education around entrepreneurship.
1804 looks forward to welcoming the Vogt Innovator to the team.
